Commissions

A painting made
for your wall.

Pick the scene, the size, and the spot it's going. I paint it by hand and you watch it come together. The result is an original nobody else owns.

How it works

Commissioning a custom painting.

It's a collaboration, not a guessing game. You're in it from the first sketch to the moment it lands on your wall.

01

Inquire

Tell me what you have in mind. A scene, a size, the wall it's headed for, the feeling you want it to carry. A photo of the spot helps. There's no charge to start the conversation.

02

Proposal

I send you a clear proposal: the size and medium, a rough timeline, and one all-in price. We settle the scene and composition together before any paint goes down, so we both know what we're making.

03

Painting

I paint your piece by hand in the studio. You get progress photos as it builds, from first wash to final layer. If something needs adjusting early on, this is where we catch it.

04

Delivery

When it's dry and right, it ships to you ready to hang, or I deliver and place it here on Oʻahu. You end up with a one-of-one original made for your space.

What to expect

The honest details.

Size

From an intimate piece over a desk to a large statement wall. Bigger paintings carry more detail and presence, and they take more time. We'll land on a size that fits both your wall and your budget.

Timeline

Plan on a few weeks from approved design to finished painting, longer for larger or more detailed work. I'd rather give a piece the time it needs than rush it. Your proposal will spell out the schedule.

Investment

Each commission is quoted on its own. Size, medium, and detail set the price, so I don't post a flat rate that would be wrong for half of you. After we talk, you get one clear number with nothing hidden behind it.

These are originals from the studio. A commission isn't a copy of any of them. It's your scene, painted with the same hand and the same care.
