Lei

I laid these out like strands hanging on a hook, each one a different flower and a different color of the same aloha. Plumeria, hibiscus, the little bells, all of them against black so the color has nowhere to hide. I painted it thinking about how many times a lei has meant welcome, or goodbye, or I love you around here.
