Windward Break

A wave breaking in a cove under the windward cliffs, a rocky bluff on one side and green headlands fading back into the haze. This was a cooler, brighter kind of day, more silver than gold, and I leaned into that. I built the rock and the spray up thick and kept the far cliffs soft so you feel the distance across the water.
