Birds of Paradise

This one runs floor to ceiling on an office wall in Honolulu. I filled it with the plants I love, big soft green leaves, a red hibiscus down low, and one bird of paradise reaching out in orange and blue. I kept the shapes simple and the greens quiet so the flowers could sing. The hope was to make a working space feel a little more like standing in a garden.
